I had the honored privilege to be hired as Julia and Paul’s professional photographer for their engagement session and also for their wedding photos. I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since we scheduled their engagement session last year! As you may remember, we spent the day roaming around in the lovely city of San Francisco for their engagement photos (you can read about it, here)!
Let me start of by saying Julia is truly an “old soul.” Her style is classy with a side of cool so I was more than excited when she invited me to her secret wedding board on Pinterest that showed all her dreamy and vintage inspirations for the big day. It was so great to see the style develop over these months in between their engagement session and the wedding. A lot of DIY projects started to pop up and I knew that Julia and Paul’s wedding was going to have the best, unique and vintage charms to it.
For example, Julia and Paul made all of the decorations! From all the decorative signs, to the wedding ceremony programs, to even the flower curtain up at the alter! These two really thought out every detail and although they didn’t have an event planner or coordinator, they freaking rocked it! Seriously, Julia and Paul are you taking your first customers yet, because you two are pros!
Since Julia is an avid baker (you can follow her fantastic recipes on Sprinkled with Jules) of course she was going to create her own wedding cake – the ultimate DIY satisfaction! I had to have a slice and it was ah-mazing, of course.
All in all, Julia and Paul’s wedding was made of the perfect combinations to showcase their love, wholesome relationship and each of their personalities. Enjoy these charming photos, because I had a blast photographing this wedding!
